"Beppu Lab" was established in Beppu City, Oita.

AsiaQuest Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Iidabashi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Jun Momoi) has decided to open "Beppu Lab" (Location: 2F APUPLAZA OITA, 11-8 Kyomachi, Beppu City, Oita) in Beppu City, Oita. On April 25, 2018, we announced the location to the Governor of Oita and the Mayor of Beppu City at the Oita Government.

Many of our employees have ties to Beppu City, including graduates of Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU) in Beppu City,
We have a strong desire to contribute to Oita and Beppu City through IT, which led to the establishment of this new location.

■Aiming to create jobs by helping students who studied in Oita find employment in the prefecture
As the shortage of IT personnel continues to grow throughout Japan, we will recruit U-turn and I-turn workers by establishing a base in Beppu City. We believe that having a base in Beppu City will expand the options for "working for an IT company in Beppu City that is involved in Asia" and contribute to the employment of talented students in the prefecture, who will be responsible for the future.We aim to hire 5 people in 1 year and 30 people in 5 years.

■Contribute to the OITA 4.0 initiative by fostering high-level IT personnel with knowledge of advanced technologies
We are developing services using advanced technologies such as IoT and AI. In Oita, we hope to contribute to the OITA 4.0 initiative through industry-academia-government collaboration, while creating pioneering examples in Japan and around the world.

Through the development of our business, we will continue to make efforts for the promotion of Oita and Beppu City by "creating jobs" and "fostering advanced IT human resources".
