SaaS stands for "Software as a Service. It is a service provided mainly over the Internet or in the cloud. SaaS is generally provided as a single service with a single function via the Internet. Software that used to be provided as a package on CD or DVD can now be obtained and used over the Internet. For example, Gmail is a service that allows people to easily use the functions within a provided framework when they need it. In recent years, there has been a movement to discourage the use of this service due to concerns about security vulnerabilities.
This service will be introduced along with Iaas(infrastructure provision) and Paas(platform provision)as one of the cloud services that provide services over the Internet.
