An electric vehicle is a vehicle powered by an electric motor and runs on electricity as its energy source, also called an EV. Since they do not emit CO2 or exhaust gases while driving, EVs can contribute to air pollution problems compared to gasoline-powered cars.
In addition, EVs make much less noise while driving, and their running costs are much lower than those of gasoline-powered vehicles, making them more economical. Although the cruising range depends on the performance of the car, it is said to be about 90~200 km with a full charge, and there are no particular problems with daily use. On the other hand, the number of recharging stations is small and their locations are limited, energy supply time is longer than that of gasoline-powered cars, and the sales price is high. As technology continues to develop, these problems are expected to be solved.
